Beach Vacation Photo Shoot in Harbor Country

Whether you’re already thinking about sending the kids “back to school,” eLearning, or stressing over exactly what to do, there is still plenty of summer left! And, although this has certainly been an interesting summer for family trips and vacations, there’s something to be said about making memories and sharing things together during uncertain times.
 

With that being said, I was absolutely thrilled to be able to work with this Texas family at the beach this year for a vacation photo shoot. They come up to the Harbor Country area every year from the great state of Texas, and it was a little reminder to me that our little corner of Southwest Michigan is truly an ideal place to live. We don’t often realize how lucky we are to be surrounded by beaches, lush farmland, cute little shops, restaurants, and so much more! Sure, it might be frustrating when you can’t find a parking spot in one of the little towns within the area, but that just goes to show how much people truly want to be here.

In these strange and anxious times, that brings me some comfort. I get to live where people come to vacation!

And, as you can see, there’s a good reason why it’s such a popular vacation spot. The beautiful skies, the natural radiance of Lake Michigan, and even the bright, vibrant dune grass all make for amazing backdrops for any family portrait, whether you’re vacationing in Harbor Country or you live here full-time and you want to take advantage of the beauty of your community!
